Housing included for full time employees. $500 deposit damage and cleaning deducted from payroll and reimbursed upon departure if approved. Each employee will have their own small room with TV, microwave and refrigerator. We have wireless service, however they will be required to provide their own laptop. Schedules will sometimes be split depending upon how many guests are on the property and the work load. Most of our clients have CHOSEN to be our guests. We are a destination. We have a nightly campfire and serve a full breakfast. We are located 7 miles from town and considered in the wilderness. Employees will have to arrange their own transportation. There are shuttle services. Additional info: We will be hiring 2 to 3 full time summer employees. Positions are needed from mid May to mid September. We need one persons mid May to mid August and 2 persons mid June to mid September. All positions require excellent understanding and speaking of English. Ability to self start and be a team member without complaint. Personal hygiene and neatness required. Physical strength is necessary to lift at least 50 lbs. and experience in housekeeping and hospitality a plus. Duties include but are not limited to housekeeping of cabins & lodge as directed, grounds maintenance that includes minor repairs as necessary, vehicle cleaning, food preparation, ability to work as needed on call depending on business including many other duties. All applicants must include previous work experience and should be at least 21 years of age. Housing is supplied, wage DOE, bonus applies to those who satisfy contract. All serious applicants are asked to comment on their desire to work in a remote Alaska area at our hospitality lodge and explain how they feel they may be an asset.
Dress code: All employees must be neat in their appearance with good hygiene. I supply kitchen aprons and gloves. Typically, employees will wear casual slacks and a neat shirt. Hotel is in an attractive mountain resort town. Scenery plus abundant sunshine brings lots of tourists. Near the Sturgis motorcycle rally. Hotel has 35 rooms, and good employees who show ambition can do quite well here. Housekeeping salary is $3.75 per room and each person can expect about 10 rooms/day. Other duties, such as laundry, pay about $6-$7 per hour (HK can do both to earn more money). The work is available 7 days per week. We are looking for 3 housekeepers. Male or female doesn?t matter, but women are generally happier do to this type of work. We are looking for a maintenance man or woman. Pay is dependent on qualifications, but they can expect $7-8 per hour if they have the right attitude. We have on-site living facilities. We charge a nominal fee per week (around $100). This includes 2 persons per room, shared bathroom facilities, and kitchen facilities as well, and all utilities.

We go to fairs, festivals and special events. There will be no weekends off as that is when we work. We sell sandwiches and drinks and there is little preparation. We need students with a good work ethic and are willing to stay the summer. It is difficult to replace the students if they leave because we travel and are not located in one place for more than a few days. Student who work here often save more money that other students because they have fewer expenses. I need students that can speak English but most importantly understand English. They will be dealing with the public every day and we require that they speak English when they are at work as it improves their skills and then everyone knows what is being said. We often have students from more than one country. We have hired students with j1 visas for more than 10 years so we understand their needs. We have had several students return to work for us another year.

We are very busy in September, so those students who cannot work until September 25, please do not apply. We are always looking for good persons who like work on family style farm. Works with team effort who works with others well. It's a hard work but well paid, we give many hours. We also provide housing. As needed, farm workers, packers - drive trucks, load and unload, sort and pick produce, work with flowers in greenhouse. GOOD ENGLISH required. Males (2-3 persons) have to have international driving license. Girls should be friendly and used to hard work. They will be assisting in packing, cleaning and sales of produce. The hours will be 40 to 60 hours per week. The first month may be slow. Later, especially in July thru Sept should be 60 hrs/week. I am also looking for 2 possibly 3 girls. They might have to lift up 50 pounds- on occasion, not all day long. They must be able to pick up 30 pounds regularly to pack the produce. The only thing that is heavy is cabbage and 5 dozen corn - but this is only when needed. Dress code: Clean cut and no piercing.
